About: Ginger root essential oil is with its strong and pleasant characteristic aroma is easily recognized. Ginger root can be prepared for distillation and even distilled multiple different ways. In some cases the roots are dehydrated prior to distillation while others are distilled while fresh. Some distilleries use simple steam distillation while others distill with a solvent such as C02. We searched to find what we felt was the most therapeutic combination between the various preparation options and between the producing countries of Madagascar, China, and Sri Lanka. At last, we found exactly what we were looking for! Health Fusion Ginger Root oil is distilled from the fresh macerated root/tuber and distilled without the use of any solvents! We personally feel fresh ginger roots not only yield a more therapeutic oil compared to the dehydrated root, but also that the oil has a much more pleasant and less smoky aroma more characteristic of fresh ginger root. Secondly, we feel distilling without a solvent is more natural and yields oil with a higher vibration, energy and purity. Ã¥Ã_
